The Kamaya
The Kamaya was newly built in 2025 and combines the use of different kinds of wood to resemble the authentic Khmer building style. The roof follows a typical Khmer design and has two layers for a better flow of fresh air. The traditional wooden style is mixed with the French colonial interior style, which includes crème-colored interior walls with a natural brick structure and wooden and colorful ceramic tile floors. Tasteful lighting and unique decorations complete the interior.
The Living Room
The Kamaya’s 30sqm living room features a fully open design, integrating with the swimming pool, dining area, bar, sundeck, and garden. The interior features personally designed wooden furniture, crafted in Cambodia by local craftsmen. The room is decorated with water hyacinth wall pieces, potted plants, and wooden and bronze statues, some of which were created exclusively for The Kamaya. The antique cabinet in the living room holds cups and glasses, with pictures of the owners’ youth and family from 1936 to 1990.
